Currently, more than engineers work for us to realize and sustainably maintain new bridges, tunnels, train stations, tracks, and signal systems - but that's not nearly enough.

As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you can plan, manage, or supervise something that will remain:
the infrastructure for future generations.


We are currently looking for you as a Environmental Management Officer for Station Projects (m/f/d) for DB Station&Service AG in the field of passenger train stations at our office location in Berlin.

There is the possibility to work remotely up to three days a week.


Your tasks:

  • You are responsible for the environmental management department in the construction sector on a conceptual level.
  • You collect feedback from the regions, especially from your colleagues in operational construction management, and drive the further development of environmental strategies, concepts, IT systems, and guidelines in a continuous improvement process.
  • With your holistic view, you develop technical guidelines for sustainable planning and construction in the area of passenger train stations, including topics such as nature conservation, soil and water protection, noise protection, environmental impact assessments, and evaluation of nature conservation compensation measures, as well as waste disposal for construction sites.
  • You represent the interests of the environmental management department in relevant committees and projects, also regarding process/system requirements and digitalization strategies.
