    Description

    Dishwasher / Busser:

    Minyoli is a cozy neighborhood eatery specialized in Taiwanese noodles, nestled in the Andersonville area of Chicago.     This role offers a versatile position encompassing 40 hours per week, with mandatory availability during weekends (Fri-Sun).


    Responsibilities:


    The specific tasks vary based on the daily assignment.


    Dishwasher responsibilities:

    • Ensure the dishwashing machine is operational and stocked with appropriate cleaning agents for each cycle. Operate the machine to clean dishware, utensils, and glassware.
    • Prepare the 3-compartment sink for cleaning pots, pans, and cookware.
    • Organize cleaned items in designated areas for drying or storage.
    • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the dishwashing section, including waste disposal.
    • Adhere to safety protocols at all times.

    Busser responsibilities:

    • Deliver dishes from the kitchen to customers in the dining room or outdoor patio area.
    • Ensure restroom facilities are tidy and well-maintained.
    • Assist in clearing tables and returning dishes to the dishwashing area.
    • Support the waitstaff with basic customer interactions and service requests.

    Skills & Requirements:

    • Must present a clean and tidy appearance when in a food service role.
    • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
    • Strong organizational skills, efficient time management, and a proactive attitude towards tasks.
    • Open to feedback, quick learner, and committed to continuous growth.

    Physical Demands:

    This position requires standing for extended periods, navigating stairs, visual, auditory, and verbal capabilities, reaching, frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds, occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.

    Compensation:

    Salary varies based on the assigned role for the day

    • Dishwasher: $18 per hour
    • Busser: $15 per hour + shared tips

    Minyoli covers Health and Dental Insurance costs.
