Senior SAP Applications Developer Responsibilities of the Senior SAP Applications Developer EDC Consulting LLC (EDC) is seeking candidates for a Senior SAP Applications Developer to join our team
As a Senior SAP Applications Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting SAP applications and solutions
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to understand their business requirements, architect SAP solutions, and deliver high-quality software applications
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in SAP development, programming languages, and integration technologies

The Senior SAP Applications Developer will:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications for SAP applications and solutions.
Design and develop SAP applications using programming languages such as ABAP, SAPUI5, Fiori, or other relevant technologies.
Customize and enhance existing SAP applications to meet specific business needs and optimize performance.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and functionality of developed applications.
Collaborate with functional teams to integrate SAP applications with other systems and ensure seamless data flow.
Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance and support to junior developers.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP applications and provide ongoing support to end-users.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SAP technologies and recommend best practices for application development.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and adherence to timelines.
Document technical specifications, design documents, and application configurations

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

A master's degree is a plus.

Proven experience as a Senior SAP Applications Developer or in a similar role, developing and supporting SAP applications.
Strong knowledge of SAP development technologies, such as ABAP, SAPUI5, Fiori, and relevant integration technologies.
Proficiency in designing and developing SAP applications, including customizations and enhancements.
In-depth understanding of SAP modules and their integration with other systems.
Experience with SAP implementation methodologies, such as ASAP or Activate.
Strong programming and development skills in languages like ABAP, Java, or JavaScript.
Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based solutions (such as SAP Cloud Platform) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex business requirements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
Ability to lead and mentor junior developers.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
SAP Certification is preferred.
