The Colleague Experience Group (CEG) seeks to provide a great colleague experience every day.

The Manager Assistant, Colleague Strategic Partner (CSP) will support the VP, Colleague Strategic Partner (CSP) responsible for Technology and Enterprise Digital & Data Solutions.

They are responsible for providing consultative support to the CSP team by managing projects and processes critical to the efficient operations of the team.


Additional responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the point of contact for the CSP team to drive Colleague Experience Group processes, initiatives, and projects.
  • Collaborate with Colleague Experience Group (CEG) Centers of Excellence (COEs) to provide endtoend support and management of critical CEG processes, including talent assessment, succession planning, performance management, compensation, colleague scorecard, and annual colleague survey.
  • Establish timelines, templates, and guidance to help ensure that Manager Assistant and Director Assistant counterparts within the business are able to support their leaders in completing annual and ongoing CEG processes, as well as special projects.
  • Managing the execution of critical CEG processes including performance management, talent assessment, yearend process, and employee engagement analysis, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify human capital issues and extract insights; present reports to Senior CSP, Business Unit President and other senior leaders, as well as support the development and execution of action plans.
  • Serve as a liaison between BU Executive Office and the CSP team to ensure consistency & compliance of CEG guidelines and use of best practices across the business.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Superior time management & organizational skills including the ability to prioritize and multitask and handle timesensitive deadlines in a complex, fastpaced environment
  • Demonstrated skills in analyzing and synthesizing data and presenting in a simple, businessfocused presentation format
  • Experience in HR/CEG or consulting preferred
  • Proven ability to build and leverage relationships to collaboratively drive results in support of business objectives.
  • Prior experience and familiarity working in a highly matrixed organization
  • Confidence and maturity to partner with colleagues and business stakeholders at all levels of seniority
  • Capable of establishing trust and followership across peer group and other key stakeholders
  • Excellent communicator with strong influencing skills
  • Ability to build and maintain credibility with senior business leaders
  • Sharp attention to detail and the desire to deliver premium quality work product with mínimal supervision and revisions.
  • Superior Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Willingness to take initiative and work within ambiguous situations
  • High degree of adaptability and the ability to learn quickly and work with mínimal direction

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Excitement about Technology and curiosity to learn about the Amex Technology business
  • Experience overseeing performance management, talent assessment and yearend compensation processes

Salary Range:
$80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
