We are currently seeking a Student Records Specialist who will advance the institution's proud tradition of excellence in academics, student life and community service.

The Opportunity

You:
An organized person who enjoys variety and meeting new people, and likes to help people - especially students.

Your mission:
Help the HCC Registrar's office maintain records on students, and provide assistance to students and colleges.

A typical day:
Variety is the spice of life.

One day, you could travel to another campus or center to register students, or work with college departments on record processes.

The next day might be more of an "office" day where you'd be printing and distributing reports, posting grades and preparing correspondence to students regarding record issues.

Perform all activities relevant to the assigned program/department; maintains student records and assists students and colleges as requested.

Process, post, and maintain all documents relevant to student files.

Process, print and distribute reports relevant to student records for various college offices.

Process and post final grades.

Ensure files and records are maintained according to state policy.

Prepare records for imaging.

Communicate with students regarding record issues.

May be required to travel to other campuses/centers to register students or work with college departments on record processes.

Perform other duties, tasks and assignments as required.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • 2 years continuous fulltime general office experience in student registration within an academic setting required
