Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as the Recovery Specialist Supervisor in the New View program at Behavioral Health NetworkYour experience, knowledge and great skills will support the New View program with the following:
- Assisting with the administrative operations of the program in adherence to requirements of licensing and funding sources to ensure quality care that incorporates the clinical understanding of addiction, dual diagnosis, and related health care issues.
- Leading & supervising Recovery Specialists, including conducting individual and group supervision, resolving personnel issues, and supporting the ongoing staff development.
- Managing the schedule for Recovery Specialists to ensure adequate coverage in compliance with regulated staffing patterns.
- Assisting with leading staff meetings with the supervisory team.
- Assisting in staff selection.
- Overseeing individualsserved activities and assisting with milieu management along with the clinical team.
- Providing & assisting staff with crisis intervention, deescalation, and emergency services as needed.
- Completing accurate and timely documentation.
- Participating in the oncall rotation.
Who are we?
The New View program at BHN serves female-identified patients who have been civilly committed through the Section 35 court proceeding to a designated substance use disorder treatment facility. The program offers acute treatment services (ATS) and clinical stabilization services (CSS).

What are we looking for in a Recovery Specialist Supervisor?
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required).
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience (preferred).
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate directions to staff clearly and appropriately.
