Essential Training Content

Manufacturing of connection techniques from components, assemblies, and machines

-Planning of work steps according to production plan

Production of manual or mechanical components

-Assembly of assemblies (e.g. riveting, forging, or soldering)

-Implementation of the above tasks in the steel mill, rolling mill, and adjustment, as well as in their subsidiary operations

Requirements

Dexterity and hand-eye coordination (e.g. when assembling assemblies)

Attention to detail (e.g. when aligning and clamping workpieces)

Technical understanding (e.g. when maintaining machines and production facilities)

Good physical condition (e.g. lifting heavy components)

After completing training as a specialist in metal technology, further training as an industrial or process mechanic is possible.
