BronxCare Health System, a major teaching hospital system, now has an excellent opportunity for a
full-time Audiologist in its Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Department.

Responsibilities include conducting hearing and balance evaluations for inpatients and outpatients of all ages; obtaining history and condition of patients through interviews and diagnostic testing; evaluating audiological data to assist physicians in determining causes for a patient's condition; writing clear and timely reports for physicians; and developing personalized treatment and monitoring plans.

Additional responsibilities involve developing methods to identify hearing-impaired patients at the hospital and community, facilitating outreach and education efforts, and participating in quality monitoring activities.


  • Infant and Pediatric Audiology, Diagnostic Audiology, Forensic and Occupational Audiology, Amplification and Aural Rehabilitation, and Balance and Spatial Orientation. A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A), New York State license in Audiology, and a minimum of three years clinical experience in a medical/hospital setting are required.
