    Apply locations GBMC Hospital time type Full time posted on Posted 2 Days Ago job requisition id JR100622 GBMC HealthCare, Inc., a nationally recognized and trusted community healthcare provider is looking for an innovative business leader to serve as Vice President and Chief Information Officer (VP & CIO) to support GBMC Hospital, Gilchrist, and GBMC Health Partners.

    As a key member of the executive team, the VP & CIO serves as the chief executive for all information technology systems, IT vendors, IT contracts, and IT business applications, to include cybersecurity, EPIC electronic medical record system, Workday ERP, and all IT and telecom infrastructure systems.

    Developing and implementing short-term and long-term IT strategic plans to support system-wide business plans, mission & vision.


    • Designing & implementing collaborative IT innovation that harvests both best-practice IT solutions while balancing efficiency and cost effectiveness.
    • Fostering a high-performing IT team, with contingencies to prevent single-point failures of any application, vendor or business application.
    • Staying current with healthcare system technology advancements and business solutions to ensure contemporary IT leadership and solutions.
    • Providing leadership, mentoring and performance accountability of IT staff.
    • Demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; Ten years Director level IT management experience in healthcare, to include EPIC EMR experience
    Knowledge of healthcare IT regulatory compliance matters.
    Ability to present to boards and internal groups on all GBMC IT matters.
    The ideal candidate will demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills, including compassion, collaboration, self-awareness, conflict management and resolution.
