Description:
Key Skills and Abilities:
- Extensive knowledge of military service program goals and objectives, the sequence and timing of key operational events and milestones, and methods of evaluating the effectiveness of budget and planning actions as related to actual events.
- Knowledge of the relationship of the various Space Force entities involved in overall planning and execution of military operations and evaluations, and the way the PPBE supports them.
- Knowledge of Space Force entities and organizations.
- Ability to gather, assemble and analyze facts, draw conclusions, conduct analysis, devise recommended solutions, and package the entire process in briefings, papers or reports suitable for top management use and decision-making.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; negotiate complex issues; and maintain good working relations.
Requirements:
Conditions of Employment:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- This position is onsite and eligible for telework, 24 days per pay period.
- Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Sensitive security clearance.
- Position may include additional program security requirements in order to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. The incumbent must be willing to submit to a Counterintelligence Polygraph and mandatory drug testing.
- May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments.
- May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
- PCS funding is not available
