Jones Networking is recruiting for an Accountant to join the Harrisburg, PA facility of a global manufacturing company. The Accountant will prepare financial reports to track the organization's assets, liabilities, profit & loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities. Accountant Position Summary:
-Perform general cost accounting and maintain the general ledger.
-Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit & loss statements.
-Code invoices, set up new accounts, reconcile accounts and close the monthly books.
-Reconcile bank accounts, verify deposits and address inquiries from
banks.
-Reconcile customer accounts and manage accounts receivables & collections.
-Verify payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensure payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
-Provide outside auditors with assistance; gather necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
-File required tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
Qualifications Summary:
-Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
-Minimum two years of full time accounting experience.
-Manufacturing industry experience is required.
-Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
-Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
-Experience with NetSuite software is a plus.
