The Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting will assist with internal and external financial reporting. Reporting to the Controller and Director of Financial Reporting.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the month end close including reconciliations of certain accounts and preparation of the monthly Board of Directors reporting packageAssist in the preparation of external reporting including SEC filings, 10K, 10Q and 8K.
Assist in the preparation of footnote disclosures and annual regulatory filingsOrganize supporting work papers in binders and electronic filesPoint of contact for audit information requests as needed, working with external audit team and tracking resolution of issuesSOX testing as requiredPrepare investor relations presentationsAd hoc reporting, analysis and special projects as neededQualificationsBS in AccountingCPA requiredSEC Reporting and XBRL tagging experience- 10 years of accounting experience, in public accounting or corporate reportingMonth end close accounting experience within a publicly traded company highly desiredExcellent communication skills, strong written communications skills required for drafting accurate reports and documentationStrong technology skills including the use of Excel
