    Description

    WE ARE CURRENTLY HIRING FOR NIGHT SHIFT ONLY.

    Position Responsibilities:
    1. Operation of a variety of machines ranging from operating overhead cranes to manufacturing stainless tubing.
    2. Responsibilities range from loading/unloading materials onto/off of machines, cutting and deburring tubing while ensuring a quality product.
    3. Ensure that the equipment is in a safe operating condition.
    4. Review the computerized work list for the equipment, locate the available material and prioritizes the orders to be processed.
    5. Communicates with the other operators to formulate the run order of material.
    6. Loads/unloads various machines to include conveyors
    7. Performs any necessary set-up during shift.
    8. Complete daily Operational and Safety Checklists.
    Typical Physical Demands:
    1. Must be able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day on a regular basis. May require additional hours of work, as required.
    2. Requires full range of body motion to include: lifting, bending, twisting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, stooping, and squatting.
    • Position requires frequent walking and/or standing on concrete floor while wearing steel-toed shoes. May walk up to two (2) miles per shift while performing essential duties.
    • Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
    • May require unassisted lifting of a variety of objects from various positions, which range in weight from 5 to 50 pounds with an average weight of 34-37 pounds.
    • Utilizes a variety of hand positions such as turning and twisting.
    • Dealing with production workers as well as supervisors when working under the pressure of production deadlines or emergency situations can be stressful.
    Webco has determined this position involves safety-sensitive job duties and will be considered a safety-sensitive position for purpose of the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act ("The Unity Bill.") effective August 29th, 2019.

    Qualifications

    Required Education and Skills:
    1. High school education or equivalent is required, supplemented with technical college, vocational training, or coursework in machining.
    2. Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
    3. After training, must be able to operate a variety of industrial machines safely and efficiently.
    4. Ability to read and speak English is preferred.
    5. Mathematical skills equivalent to high school level including the ability to do decimals, fractions and averages required.
    6. Must be able to communicate, both in written and verbal form, effectively with supervisors and co-workers. Regular attendance at work and punctuality are essential job functions.
