**POSITION SUMMARY**
This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hotel dispatch office. The Hotel Housekeeping Dispatcher will support hotels housekeeping/maintenance operations by answering all incoming calls for housekeeping services, relay information to the appropriate team member(s) or department and follow up on completion of expectations to ensure prompt and efficient guest satisfaction, as well as demonstrating the GILA WAY.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external guests.
Receives and dispatches all communication from PBX, Front Desk, Maintenance, IT and Housekeeping in regards to room statuses and requests.
Coordinates all radio communication from housekeeping to the appropriate team or department.
Provides administrative assistance the Housekeeping Department.
P erforms input, updating, maintenance and accuracy checks in Opera on room statuses.
Receives all housekeeping supply orders and records inventory.
Manages laundry invoicing and reconciliations.
Assists with Lost and Found processes.
Prepares new hire packets with employee forms to be completed by new hires.
Assist with onboarding new hires with reviewing policies & procedures.
Conducts business in a professional manner.
Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness.
Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.
**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**
This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.
**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
1. Guest service and interaction experience required.
2. Knowledge of phone system and general office equipment preferred.
3. Ability to type and handle multiple phone calls required.
4. Ability to perform the GILA WAY which is as follows:

Listen actively to our guest
Appreciate our guest
5. Must possess strong attention to detail, excellent guest service skills, strong organizational skills, telephone etiquette, and be a self-starter with the ability to follow-up and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision.
6. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as well as to gain the cooperation of guests, employees, and fellow staff members.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
8. This position must have, or an ability to acquire within one year, and in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of Enterprise Policies and Procedures, governmental regulations, and technical rules relevant to their responsibilities.
**Important Notes**
As a condition of employment, all new hires must pass the following:
Pre-employment Alcohol/Drug Test. This drug test includes the normal seven-panel test, but excludes marijuana for non-safety sensitive positions.
