Job Title:
Quality Inspector for Refrigerated Trailers


Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of refrigerated trailers to assess their quality, functionality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Inspect various components of trailers including refrigeration units, electrical systems, insulation, structural integrity, and overall construction.
• Utilize specialized equipment and tools to perform precise measurements and tests to identify any defects or deficiencies.
• Document inspection findings accurately and thoroughly, including detailed reports on identified issues and recommended corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective measures promptly.
• Monitor adherence to quality control procedures and standards throughout the manufacturing process, from initial assembly to final inspection.
• Conduct routine audits and spot checks to ensure ongoing compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality, efficiency, and reliability.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, always adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in quality control or related fields is a plus.
• Proven experience in quality inspection, preferably in the automotive, manufacturing, or transportation industry.
• Indepth knowledge of quality control principles, techniques, and methodologies.
• Familiarity with refrigerated trailers and their components is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional analytical skills to identify defects and noncompliance issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate inspection findings and recommendations.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, gauges, thermometers, and diagnostic devices.
• Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving quality issues.
• Commitment to upholding high standards of quality, safety, and compliance in all aspects of the job.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in refrigerated trailer manufacturing or maintenance.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Experience with quality management systems and tools.

Working Conditions:

This position primarily operates in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and other occupational hazards.

The role may require occasional lifting, bending, and prolonged periods of standing or walking. Additionally, the Quality Inspector may need to work flexible hours to accommodate production schedules and deadlines.
