We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our construction team as a Construction Insulation Trainee.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a dynamic project involving pipe insulation, carpentry, and sheet metal.

Expected Pay:
$20-30

Experience Required: 2-3 Years

Per Diem:
$65/night (double occupancy)

Key Duties:

Installation of insulation materials on pipe, vessels, and related components, ensuring proper fit and coverage.
Measure, cut, and install jacketing material including sheet metal (aluminum or stainless steel) and PVC.
Install vapor barriers to prevent moisture from corroding insulation and piping.
Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including but not limited to cutting tools, drills, and measuring devices, in a safe and efficient manner.
Help with measuring and cutting pipe insulation materials to precise specifications, adhering to project requirements.
Perform general labor duties, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials as directed by the project lead.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, promoting a safe and productive environment for the entire team.
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks and goals as assigned, demonstrating reliability and a strong work ethic.

Requirements:

Prior experience in sheet metal work, carpentry, or construction.
Ability to operate hand and power tools with proficiency and follow safety protocols.
Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fastpaced construction environment.
Detailoriented mindset, capable of accurately measuring and cutting materials to specifications.
Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting and carrying heavy objects, and working in various weather conditions.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively follow instructions and collaborate with team members.
Extensive travel required (typical tour is from the Tuesday of the 1st week to the Thursday of the 2nd week, with 1012 hour days)
Companies are a tobaccofree workplace and, as such, no tobacco products are allowed during the workday on the jobsite(s).
Position requires preemployment drug screening, felony screening, and DUI screening
As a representative of the company, individuals should be well groomed and presentable
Must have valid driver's license and be capable of driving up to 10 hours in a day
Ability to see and hear industrial equipment as it moves around the jobsite
Requires working in very hot (above 100F) or very cold (below 10F) temperatures and the ability to wear all required safety PPE in these conditions
