To help our teams work together effectively, this role requires you to be located in the United States (PST timezone preferred).
_ Your future team_
Our Executive Compensation & Strategy team is comprised of people with backgrounds in executive compensation, M&A, and compensation strategy for both executives and broad-based employees.
You will manage and work with a team of compensation professionals tasked with bringing strategic, innovative thinking to solving some of the most nebulous problems we face in the compensation space today.
You will build the next generation of compensation strategy and partner with others on new plan designs.Compensation
Zone A:
$208,600 - $278,100
Zone B:
$187,800 - $250,300
Zone C:
$173,200 - $230,900
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
Responsibilities:
_ What you'll do_
- Shape and execute on a compensation strategy that enables Atlassian to attract and retain worldclass talent, incentivizes behaviors that drive outsized impact and enduring growth, and doubles down on pay equity and fairness.
- Leverage your analytical, consultative, and communication skills to inform and influence the Founders, Csuite, and Compensation Committee on global, businessimpacting compensation design and strategy.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the compensation team and the business to identify opportunities for evolution and investment, define solutions to complex and highimpact problems, and ensure alignment between our compensation and business strategies.
- Build and lead a growing, distributed team of innovative compensation professionals focused on solving complex problems and defining next generation compensation practices.
- Partner crossfunctionally to ensure competitiveness, equitability, and philosophical alignment as we obtain talent through M&A.
Qualifications:
_ Your background_
- 10+ years of experience designing innovative compensation offerings within a fastpaced, highgrowth global company.
- Expertise in compensation plan design, including short
- Experience in change management and influencing across complex topics like pay transparency, newhire offer strategy, and talent retention.
- Passion for approaching complex problems with a balance of data and insights, first principles thinking, and an eye for innovation.
- Track record of successful senior stakeholder engagement and partnership, including exceptional consulting, communication, and presentation skills.
- A passion for people leadership, and a strong appetite for building, supporting, and developing a diverse and distributed team.
