This role will support the development and implementation of the McNeely Prison Education Consortium, which has funding support from multiple sources including the US Department of Education, The Mellon Foundation, and other potential funders.
The consortium is the multi-institutional initiative entity that organizes and coordinates higher education in prison efforts in the Milwaukee and Racine area.
The Program Coordinator will work closely with the MPEC director and EPP staff to develop, coordinate, and implement MPEC policies and procedures.
This position will also be leading day-to-day logistics associated with the operation of the consortium.

Responsibilities:
1. Implement logístical operations for programming and curricula between Marquette and consortium partner schools in the Milwaukee and Racine area.
- Will be responsible for maintaining the calendar of MPEC programming, workshops, and events. Management & dissemination of forthcoming newsletter. Maintain database, files, and records in SharePoint/Microsoft Teams.
- Maintain communication and formalize relationships with our Community Partners. Also work with MPEC director to facilitate conversations and coordination with potential future MPEC partner schools.
- Develop and Implement opportunities for collaboration with various campus departments.
- Coordinate and manage formal document, articulation agreements, and MOU's with DOC and MPEC partnering schools
- Provide supervisory support overseeing the work of graduate assistants and undergraduate interns in collaboration with MPEC Director and the EPP team
- Manage relationships and connections with DOC personal working in MPEC DOC facilities
- Assist with the recruitment, interviewing, selection, and training of MPEC staff and future student workers, etc.
- Research and assist in best practices in policy design and provide unique recommendations to meet unique programmatic requirements. Implement policies to formalize program processes.
Bachelor's degree
A minimum of 4 years of related experience
Ability to work independently and to prioritize and execute multiple tasks consistent with assigned timeline
Able to work in a team environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to deal with diverse constituencies
Demonstrated attention to detail, professional attitude, and ability to maintain confidentiality
Expressed commitment to and support of Project objectives
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Prior supervisory experience
1-3 years' experience with working in higher education
Spanish language proficiency
