Aston Health is hiring a full-time

We have earned a reputation for exceptional service and attention when providing rehabilitation, assisted living, and skilled nursing care.

Job Duties:

Coordinate nutritional care of residents and patients by completing nutritional assessments.
Participate in IDT meetings as required.
Provide nutritional counseling and education for residents and family.
Provides dietary inservice training as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Good decision making and judgment capabilities.
Ability to identify and solve complex problems.
Great communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
High comfort level with enteral nutrition, wounds, weight management, Hemodialysis.
Comfortable working in a healthcare facility.
Familiarity with state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations.
Have a Registered Dietitian credential and FL license.
Provide nutritional care to the longterm care residents and subacute rehab patients.
Plan, organize, develop, and direct the nutritional care of the resident in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, regulations and established facility/company policies and procedures.
Be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences.
Valid Florida Driver's License
Represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff.
Experience with electronic charting such as Point Click Care is a plus

Schedule:
