IT Helpdesk Technician

Summary

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
  • Set up and maintain computer networks, including LAN and TCP/IP connectivity.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions in Azure Active Directory.
  • Utilize SCCM, Jira, and Remedy ticketing systems for incident management.
  • High School diploma or GED; a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP)
  • Strong experience with Azure Active Directory
  • Strong experience with Servicenow
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide technical guidance to nontechnical users
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fastpaced environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
