The city of Neuenburg am Rhein is currently seeking a
pedagogical specialist (m/f/d) (75%) for the
"Grüne Insel" Nature Kindergarten to start as soon as possible.

The Nature Kindergarten accommodates 20 children aged 3 to 6 years in a full-time group (Monday to Friday, hours).


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accompanying, caring for and promoting the children in a mixedage group during daily outdoor activities
  • Establishing a connection between humans and nature
  • Building a close partnership with the parents and involving them in the projects of the Nature Kindergarten
  • Developing the Nature Kindergarten conceptually in a team especially in the establishment of another Nature Kindergarten
  • Collaborating with other municipal childcare facilities

Our expectations:

  • You are attentive, enjoy working with children and are able to build relationships
  • You are an active, empathetic and weatherresistant person with a qualification according to § 7 KiTaG (pedagogical training or degree) and ideally have experience in forest or nature education
  • You are motivated and able to work in a team, act responsibly and have organizational skills
  • Sustainability and environmental awareness are important to you
  • You are familiar with various specialized topics (e.g. participation, child protection) and are interested in further training
