Whether you are an experienced professional or just starting your career, we offer numerous entry and training opportunities.As a Train Shunting Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and punctual preparation of our IC/ICE trains. We are currently seeking a Train Shunting Operator (m/f/d) for DB Fernverkehr AG at our location in Munich.
Your responsibilities include:
- Managing shunting activities and train preparation
- Performing technical preparation and completion services
- Ensuring proper preparation and timely delivery of shunting activities
- Safely and punctually performing coupling and shunting operations in regular and emergency situations
- Parking and securing vehicles
- Operating the shunting radio system
Your profile:
- Completed vocational training in a recognized profession with a minimum duration of two and a half years, or equivalent onthejob training
- Qualification as a Train Shunting Operator and Shunting Assistant, including brake test authorization
- Openness to digital communication tools tablets, apps, etc.
- Willingness to work irregular shifts and alternating schedules
- Fluent in German, both written and spoken
- Willingness to obtain a train driver's license
