Milton Hershey School (MHS) is one of the world's best pre-K through 12th grade private schools, where students from disadvantaged backgrounds are provided with a cost-free home and a top-notch education.
Thanks to the generosity of Milton and Catherine Hershey in 1909, the school is fully endowed today, with the resources to ensure students can thrive.
The school has prepared almost 12,000 graduates to lead fulfilling and productive lives and is expanding to serve more students.
MHS is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join a high-performing team of professionals dedicated to growing awareness of the school's mission and nurturing marketing funnels to meet the strategic needs of the school.
The Marketing Coordinator works within the organization to develop high-quality and consistent brand messaging and is responsible for managing the school's website and e-newsletters.
This is an onsite, year-round position that compensates between $65K - $86K, plus an excellent benefits package.Some of the responsibilities include:
- Creating content that can be leveraged across marketing channels, including web and social media platforms, enewsletters, and advertisements.
- Building and managing optimized landing pages to support marketing campaigns and event registration.
- Utilizing marketing tools (i.e. WordPress, Mailchimp) to assist in managing and promoting content.
- Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics and website traffic to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Assisting with communications projects such as events, market research, leadership initiatives, etc.
- Collaborating with team members to develop photography and video assets.
- Proofing content to ensure consistency with AP Style and MHS brand standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or closely related field.
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience with demonstrated success.
- Strong creative writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Technical skills including knowledge of SEO best practices, content management systems, and Google Analytics.
- Basic skills with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Initiative and follow through on projects is critically important.
- Demonstrated success working in a fastpaced dynamic environment with competing priorities. Excellent organizational and project management skills required.
- Occasional evening and weekend work is required.
