Assistant to Operations Manager.


Responsibilities and Duties

Opportunity to work in the recreational boating industry. Knowledge of boats not required.

  • Good oral & written communication skills.
  • Detail Oriented a Must
  • Daily Deposits
  • Cash/Checks
  • ACH
  • Credit Card Transactions
  • Daily Input into Accounting System
  • Daily update of AR Aging
  • Customer Collections
  • Contact Customers
  • Weekly review of aging to define calls and credit hold
  • Accounts Payable
  • Print weekly checks for AP, mail and file
  • Perform general clerical duties to include, but not limited to copying, faxing, mailing and filing
  • File and retrieve documents & invoices, as needed
  • Create and modify documents such as sales orders, invoices, reports, memos, letters, spreadsheet, database and other company software and webbased software
  • Support marketing & sales staff in assigned projectbased work
  • Other duties as assigned by President and Office Manager

Qualifications and Skills for Assistant to Operations Manager

  • Two (2) years experience preferred
  • Sunny disposition
  • Able to deal with a variety of customers professionally and cheerfully, even under pressure
  • Skilled in wordprocessing (Microsoft word), data entry (Microsoft Excel), and receptionist duties
  • Knowledge of principles & practices of basic office management & organization
  • Knowledge of basic principles and practices of accounts receivable
  • Knowledge of basic principles and practices of accounts payable
  • Ability to work well either alone or as a part of a team
  • Able to understand & follow simple oral and written instructions
  • Ability to learn new software programs
  • Provide strong problemsolving abilities and can multitask

Benefits

Salary:
$45,000 to start
