MIF Insurance Agency has an immediate opening for a full time, Japanese bilingual staff member to be trained and licensed as an insurance agent.

This is an entry level position and there is no working knowledge required as we will train you on the job.

We are an agency that focuses on Property & Casualty Insurance with a strong presence in the Japanese community.


Responsibilities:

• Service active client files, including maintain of accounts and records, endorsement processing and general work flows
• Preparing customer insurance surveys and coverage breakdowns
• Quote and bind coverage on new business though our various carriers
• Establish excellent working relationships with clients and include follows up
• Answering phone calls

Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED

Must be fluent in Japanese for both written and verbal communication.

• Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent customer service skills, including pleasant and professional telephone demeanor.
