- Implements data models, database designs, data access and table maintenance codes
- Resolves database performance and capacity issues, and replication and other distributed data issues
- Installs and/or upgrades the mainframe product in the related environment
- Competent to work in most phases of database management
- Under general direction, designs, implements and maintains complex databases with respect to JCL, access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, guidelines, and statistical methods
- Directs the monitoring, administering and implementing performance on database systems as well as database performance optimization developing/changing database indices, redesigning database structure and reloading data into a database
- Maintains database dictionaries, overall monitoring of standards and procedures, and integration of systems through database design
- Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of database management
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent related experience
- ITIL v4
- IAT Level II Certification
- Education/experience in on of the following:
- SQL
- Metalogix Suite
- II: 13+Years
- Sitting for long periods
- Standing for long periods
- Ambulate throughout an office
- Ambulate between several buildings
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
- Repeatedly lift and carry weight up to 25 pounds
- Travel by land or air transportation 15 %
