Tarentum is looking for a SURFACE COATER (M/F/D) PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

The profession of a surface coater is anything but superficial. During the training, chemistry, physics, and mechanics come together. Surface coaters work in various areas of surface technology and create decorative and functional surfaces.

In addition to acquiring chemical and physical expertise, topics such as analytics, quality control, and environmental technology are comprehensively covered.

With training as a surface coater, a diverse world of galvanic and chemical deposition processes opens up, making boring chemistry lessons an exciting practical experience.



TRAINING FOCUS

Chemical and galvanic deposition of metals
Pre- and post-treatment of surfaces
Environmental technology processes
Operating, monitoring, and maintaining production processes
Handling of operating and hazardous substances
Quality management
Basics of mechanics and electronics
Environmental protection, safety, and health protection at work


REQUIREMENTS
Secondary school diploma, technical college entrance qualification, or general university entrance qualification

Good grades in the following subjects:
Chemistry / Physics
Mathematics
German
Interest in chemical and physical processes
Basic technical understanding
Teamwork, independent work, and an open personality


VOCATIONAL SCHOOL
Gewerbliche Schule Schwäbisch Gmünd
4 blocks of 3-4 weeks per year (total of approximately 12 weeks per year) of classes
