Job summary
Performs work involving operating complex construction and right-of-way equipment. Repairs and maintains roads, rights-of-way; performs traffic control duties; performs minor repairs and maintenance on equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operates complex construction and maintenance equipment such as dump truck, front end loader, water truck, single axle and tandem axle truck, compactor snow plow chipper sanders spreaders sealers motor grader mower tractor dozer backhoe in order to perform maintenance activities.
- Assists with traffic control at road construction sites by directing traffic and assisting other equipment operators in maneuvering equipment.
