What to expect

The Data & Intelligence department develops data-driven services with significant business impact on a scalable AWS infrastructure.

Platform engineers, data engineers, and data scientists work with leading-edge technologies to provide analytical, ML, and AI-driven solutions to various departments.

This position can be based in Hamburg or Büdelsdorf.

Your responsibilities
Design and develop a flexible data architecture to expand the central data platform for the freenet Group
Support cross-functional teams and product owners in the conception and development of existing and new data services
End-to-end development of data pipelines, from requirement analysis to architectural design of data models and provisioning, to the deployment of cloud-based data services in collaboration with our data scientists and data operations
Create highly scalable software solutions and distributed systems in the field of data engineering for various analytical and operational use cases in the cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments
Maintain close communication with all stakeholders regarding current operations and future development

Your profile
Experience in data modeling and provisioning
Knowledge of various cloud services (with a focus on AWS)
Project experience in designing and developing ETL/
