Your Role: What you'll be doing
This Customer Support Rep 4 reports directly to the Vice President, Government and Commercial Programs. The position holder will be:
The primary interface on program protocol planning and engagements related to Government and Commercial Programs, other business units, programs and sites as required.
Accountable for working closely with the CEO, COO, VP, executive and customer senior leadership, as well as other business partners to define planning and objectives.
Providing liaison support to Production Operations, Business Development, and Government Operations and Communications personnel for engagements.
Responsible for planning and executing logistics associated with distinguished visitors, customer visits, meetings, tours and special events, and performs after-action reviews.
+ Logistics include, but are not limited to onsite catering, ground transportation, static and exhibit display locations, attendee credentials, onsite security coordination, foreign national access requests, processing base and facility access, attendee accommodations, and temporary event staff management.
Providing planning updates and documentation to senior manager and other leaders as requested.
Developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and managers.
Soliciting feedback, conducts process reviews and shares improvement suggestions for future events.
Your Background: What education and experience you'll need
Requires a bachelors degree plus 8 years of experience.
Your Background: What skills you'll need
8-10 years of experience in Customer Relations and Event Planning
Ability to demonstrate:
+ Leadership, initiative, advanced event management and marketing skills
+ Creativity, adaptability, collaboration, decision-making skills and professionalism
Must be able to work effectively both as an individual contributor and as part of a team in both lead and support positions
Demonstrated excellent time management and project management skills
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and communicate with diverse audiences
Excel at managing multiple projects with competing priorities
Work well under deadline pressures with minimal supervision
Demonstrate excellent event management and contracting and negotiation skills
Possess current knowledge of military, business and international protocol
Strong working knowledge of customer relations surrounding space vehicle launches or related activities
Preferred candidates will have:
In depth knowledge and experience working with the Space Force, NASA, and commercial customer relations community
Above average written and oral presentation skills.
