- Answers incoming calls in bright and cheerful manner. Takes responsibility in resolving patient concerns on the spot if at possible.
- Acts as liaison between PFS and outside vendors and addresses issues such that productivity is maximized for both.
- Processes bankruptcy, estate accounts and fills request for itemized bills in a prompt, timely and accurate manner.
- Prepares and files refund requests.
- Accurate and thorough documentation of pertinent events regarding the handling of the account including researching prior accounts.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum three years' experience in a medical billing office or in the customer service field required. Basic computer skills required.
