Miner Repair Technician - Rockdale

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Miner Repair Technician to join our team in Rockdale.

In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining mining equipment and machinery to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our mining operations.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mining equipment such as shovels, trucks, and conveyor systems
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with mining equipment
  • Replace defective parts and components to ensure proper functionality
  • Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns and downtime
  • Follow safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate repair schedules and priorities
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities

Requirements:


  • 2+ years of experience as a Miner Repair Technician or similar role
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills
  • Knowledge of mining equipment and machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work in a mining environment and adhere to safety regulations
