Custom Groups Specialist
This is a part-time on-site role for a Custom Groups Specialist at GOMEGA Travel & Tours located in The Woodlands, TX.
The Custom Groups Specialist will be responsible for providing travel consulting services to clients, managing group travel arrangements, and offering exceptional customer service.
The role also involves sales calls to generate new business, handling reservations, assisting group clients with any travel-related inquiries and general administration duties.
Qualifications/Skills
- 3 years customer service / sales experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required.
- Travel Consulting, Travel Management, and Travel Arrangements skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proven sales record in generating new business.
- Experience in handling travel reservations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of different travel destinations and attractions.
- Proficiency in travel booking systems and software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proven account management or similar.
- Ability to work in a busy team and be a team player.
- Initiative to offer ideas and brainstorm.
- Previous experience in the travel industry is a plus.
