The Accounting Analyst is responsible for supporting the monthly close, consolidation and reporting process.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities (100%)

  • Prepare up to 50 monthly trial balances and load into the Consolidation systems, ensuring accuracy of load and consistency between multiple reporting entities.
  • Gather supplemental reporting data and prepare templates to load into the consolidation system.
  • Help ensure the integrity of master data and help maintain mapping data for all systems including: SAP, QAD, SAGE, JDE, HFM, BFC and Essbase.
  • Help identify reporting issues and risks and reconcile between systems, as necessary.
  • Help to evolve and automate consolidation systems, tools, and processes.
  • Design, modify, and maintain process and procedure documentation with ultimate goal of training regional teams to perform at the local level.
  • Support the migration of SAP from a shared environment to a standalone environment.
  • Research, communicate and coordinate technical accounting treatment, as necessary.
  • Effectively communicate and work cooperatively with team members in a multilevel, decentralized, international consolidation team to research issues, determine solutions, and achieve resolution on a tight schedule.
  • Perform assigned duties and deliverables according to set deadlines and the monthly and quarterly close schedules.

Education and Experience Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
years accounting experience

  • Experience with monthly close process in multientity, global environment a plus
  • Public Accounting experience a plus

Required Skills:


  • High degree of comfort with change.
  • System Savvy, comfortable working in multiple system environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP, JDE, HFM systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • High degree of accuracy, with strong attention to detail.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with IFRS a plus.
  • Must maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Must have strong organizational and problemsolving skills as well as the ability to close out issues.
  • Works well independently and can collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Work Environment:

Working conditions are normal for an office environment.


Pay Range:
$45,923-$67,354.

This "base salary range" is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting.

Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.

ASSA ABLOY conducts regular review of compensation ranges and therefore reserves the right to alter this range at any given time.
