    At Select Medical's Critical Illness Recovery Hospitals, you have the opportunity to be part of a team dedicated to caring for the most vulnerable patients in your community. This role involves providing quality care to chronically and critically ill or post-ICU patients in need of extended hospital care. Join a network of over 50,000 employees nationwide who deliver exceptional care to approximately 70,000 patients daily across the four divisions.

    Responsibilities:

    - Deliver superior quality in all tasks
    - Treat others with respect

    - Overcome obstacles resourcefully
    - Solve problems creatively
    - Assume responsibility for monitoring and responding to alarms promptly
    - Verify identification of rhythms and maintain EKG monitor alarms
    - Interpret EKG readings accurately
    - Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN

    Qualifications:

    You should be attentive to detail, organized, and have a customer-service oriented mindset.

    Minimum requirements:

    - Successful completion of EKG class for Monitor Techs
    - Completion of required competencies within 30 days of starting position
    - Successful completion of other tests/competencies as needed

    Preferred qualifications:

    - High school diploma or equivalent
    - Background as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Licensed Paramedic, or RN nursing student with EKG training
