Description
Certified Nursing Assistant – Cardiac Telemetry at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center – Spokane, WAThe Nursing Assistant functions within his/her scope of practice under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse to assist in providing care and implementing delegated activities of the nursing plan.
S/he demonstrates an understanding of basic nursing skills and skills unique to the assigned clinical unit(s).obtains supplies/equipment as necessary from designated departments.
Individualizes patient care using age related concepts based on the unit population assigned for infants (1 month to Age 1) toddlers (1-2 years), preschoolers (3-5 years) school age (6-12 years), adolescents (ages and adult patients including early adult (ages middle adult (ages and older adult (ages 66+) by applying age related concepts...including knowledge of growth and development, safety needs, collection of data, treatments and care typically required.
Utilizes age related concepts when communicating with patients and families, maintaining a safe environment, and using medical equipment and supplies.
Shift:
Average 24 hours weekly, 08-hour Night shifts, Part-time position.
