1st Shift - Mondays through Thursdays from 6:00am to 4:30pm

To Pattern, Cut, and Sew upholstered furniture, chairs, and other Palmer Hamilton products as necessary while meeting or exceeding established production rates and Palmer Hamilton's quality standards.
Position Functions:
- Pattern and sew upholstered furniture fabrics for a variety of custom furniture products.
- Develop and utilize an understanding of what a highend customer expects regarding quality.
- Repair and rework any part of product.
- Package products when needed.
- Responsible for minor maintenance on equipment used in this function.
- Move material throughout department as needed.
- Must be able to watch for defects in components and raise quality issues immediately.
Position Expectations:
- Exercise care in handling parts and products throughout the process.
- Responsible for producing a quality product that will pass inspection.
- Responsible for output meeting established production rates.
- Maintain safety awareness.
- Willingness to be a team player and perform various other jobs in department as management directs.
- Keeps work area clean and help others clean department as needed.
Qualifications:
- Works with integrity and professionalism and takes pride in his/her own work.
- Use and Knowledge of Sewing Machines
- Able to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions.
- Basic math skills
- Basic communication skills
