Salary Range $76,747 - $103,723 annually


JOB SUMMARY:


If you have strong organizational skills, creative ideas, and enjoy hands-on problem solving - our Marketing Project Manager role is the perfect fit for you.

You'll support the Empire marketing team efforts by creating annual marketing plans that include recommended budgets, channel strategy, and project execution for multiple divisions.

Your plans will be supported by our award-winning, collaborative Marketing team of over 20 members including coordinators, specialists, designers, and data analysts.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Develop and execute effective marketing strategies from business planning meetings. Create multichannel campaigns tailored to customer segments, using tactics such as direct mail, trade publications, digital channels, signage, and mass media. Deliver metrics appropriate to demonstrate campaign results.
  • Manage daytoday operational aspects of projects, including communication of stakeholder needs to marketing team.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and understand project priorities in the context of stakeholder expectations. Be the focal point for production, timeline, and resourcing issues.
  • Serve as a marketing consultant to the sales and operational process to achieve goals. Ensures teams have the proper gotomarket tactics to articulate our value proposition and are aware of and use materials.
  • Manage tactical budget effectively and provide periodic reports to update leadership.
  • Analyze campaign results and identify trends or adjustments and provide recommendations where shifts are needed.
  • Working with internal resources; plan and execute events for customer appreciation, trade shows, open houses, trade associations, employee appreciation, etc.
  • Work with internal team and external vendors to develop and maintain website content, including regular updates of specials and promotions.
  • Research, understand and communicate market conditions and division/department/location performance to identify opportunities for growth, diversification, or additional market focus.
  • Remain knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors and marketing best practices as related to the lines of business supported.
  • Understands brand requirements and compliance for all aspects of our business.
  • Create an environment of ownership and personal accountability where each person is responsible and accountable for their performance.
  • Establish strong relationships with partners and vendors including advertising agencies, photographers, designers, and printers to ensure projects are on time and on budget.
  • Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures and standards.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Maintain project management system to update statuses and track project deliverables and deadlines.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
  • Work within and promote the corporate values.
  • Provide backup support to general administrative functions within Marketing Department.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


  • Proven track record in managing marketing projects from inception to completion with measureable results.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of marketing including project management, integrated marketing communications, direct marketing, and advertising including functions of copywriting, graphic design, online marketing, and branding.
  • Ability to effectively organize and present information relevant to senior management.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics; certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress or similar website content management systems.
  • Ability to generate highlevel campaign ideation to meet client goals and objectives.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong team player and selfstarter who is a motivated contributor and brings a positive attitude to the team.
