JOB DUTIES:

  • Order parts for all Florida area Service Technicians
  • Receive parts in Total, log the date received and sent to the Technician on the spreadsheet, and advise Technicians/Supervisors
  • Support Supervisors as needed.
  • Maintain stock of parts in Florida service parts storage
  • Work with Technicians to ensure the proper parts are ordered (having them send in parts request forms with part numbers, pictures, and vendors whenever possible).
  • Assist in keeping test equipment calibrated.
  • Organize and control tools & equipment being signed out as needed.
  • Making sure warranty parts are returned to the various manufacturers for credit.
  • Shop's Vendors for the best pricing when possible
  • Provide purchase orders to all service department personnel as needed.
  • Assist Accounts Payable when questioned about invoices.

Position Qualifications:

  • Must have elevator knowledge.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Internet.
  • Must be detailed oriented & organized.
  • Must have good customer relations skills.
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize.

Performance Criteria:

Skills & Abilities:

Education:
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience:
Must have elevator experience or training

Computer Skills:
Proficient skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
