- Regulatory Compliance Ensure all departments adhere to HIPAA regulations, accreditation standards, and other relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring and Auditing:Oversee regular audits and monitoring activities to assess compliance levels, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Training and Education Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to educate staff on compliance protocols and regulatory changes.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate compliance risks through continuous assessment and enhancement of compliance processes.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on compliance activities, findings, and improvement plans to senior leadership and regulatory bodies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with department heads and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of compliance practices across all operational areas.
- 10 years of proven experience in a compliance leadership role, preferably within the healthcare industry OR heavily regulated environment.
- 8 years experience regulatory audit experience and managing accreditation processes
- In-depth knowledge of HIPAA regulations, accreditation standards, and other relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively educate and collaborate with diverse teams. 'Hands on Leader, required'
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Manages process for accreditation for URAC, VIPPS and ACHC.
- Background to include private equity and/or mid-size corporations
- Experience leading mid to large teams
- Bachelors degree in a related field required; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CHC, CHPC) preferred.
