    Ewing Continuing Care Center, near scenic Canandaigua Lake, is a 5-star, not-for-profit residential health care facility offering quality skilled nursing and rehabilitation care in a clean, safe and pleasant environment.

    Primarily Monday-Friday position with 1 weekend out of 5 requiredBenefitsHealth, dental, vision insuranceTuition reimbursement up to $6000/yearContribution and match on Retirement PlanPaid time offAccess to Success coachesFree parkingWhat will you do?You will assist the Nurse manager in daily management of the Lakeview Avenue which includes:

    Key ResponsibilitiesPerforms, supervises or assists with residents assessment and documentationPerform skin assessments weekly and PRN on indicated residentsAssists with assuring that quality care is provided through QI Mentors, rounds, chart reviews, etc.

    Participates with precepting of nursing personnelServes as clinical resource person to CNAs, LPNs and other associatesAssist with development of nursing and ICPMonitors nursing personnel compliance with resident care plansCoordinates clinical care of residents with nursing personnelAssures that physician orders are carried out and integrated into resident care plansContinually enhances clinical knowledge in long term care and shares information as appropriateResponsible for creating a culture of accountability within the framework of a positive work environmentQualificationsNYS Licensed RN required2 years of long term care experience preferredStrong physical assessment skillsSupervision skills/experienceStrong oral and written communicationAdaptability
    • Assistant Nurse Manager must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the resident.
    The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the resident's status and interpret each resident's requirements relative to age specific needs and to the care neededCompany CultureThompson Health has a culture of empowerment.

    Position Pay Range:
    $78,000-90,000/year
