Billing Clerk/Specialist

Magna Legal Services provides end to end legal support services company with 100% remote capabilities to law firms, corporations, and government agencies throughout the nation.

We provide court reporting, depositions, record retrieval and many more services.


About the Position
In House position but, possibility to go Hybrid.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Experience in the creation and formatting of Ledes Report
• Experience in portal submissions and research (ex: Legal-X, CounselLink, Legal Tracker etc)
• Track and reconcile open case/matter # portal submission issues.
• Ability to help with daily/ weekly & monthly billing.
• Review, reconcile and invoice from the unbilled report.
• Other clerical duties, as needed, support the Billing team.
• Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents.
• Scan and print files, when needed.
• Keep information confidential.

Qualifications

Experience:
Bookkeeping/Accounting experience


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Excellent computer skills in MS Office and data programs. Exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to spot errors with accuracy and efficiency. Solid time management skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and stay focused on assigned tasks. Excellent typing skills encompassing speed and accuracy. Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with staff members.


Pay:
$ $19.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Experience:

• Accounting: 2 years (preferred)

Microsoft Excel: 2 years (preferred)
