Overview


Tall Turf Ministries is seeking a Camp Nurse for our 2024 summer camp season This position pays $62 per day over 55-60 days.

Camp Tall Turf was founded in 1968 with the vision to provide a safe, peaceful and fun environment for children of different racial groups to come together.

The founders of Tall Turf shared the conviction that the Christian community ought to be at the forefront of the work of dismantling racism and injustice.


Duties

  • Oversee training of staff in health care policies and emergency procedures
  • Attend to the health needs of campers
  • Distribute camper medication
  • Maintain contact with camp physician as needed
  • Ensure first aid stations around camp remain stocked
  • Teach first aid class to campers
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:


  • EMT-B or MFR
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Must live onsite during summer sessions

Job Types:
Per diem, Temporary

$62.00 per day
