Your responsibilities

As a sub-project manager (m/f/d) at Sundown, you will independently manage exciting projects in the field of electromobility / special mechanical engineering of limited size and complexity from the conception phase to commissioning / final acceptance
You will develop constructive concepts for assembly systems in the assigned order and support sales during the bidding phase
You will be responsible for providing technical guidance to subordinate employees during the engineering process
You will also identify potential disruptions in the project and communicate them to the project team and project manager
You will monitor the given schedule and take necessary measures to ensure deadlines are met
You will have overall coordination responsibility for technology, quality, costs, and deadlines throughout the project duration
You will coordinate and approve concepts with execution managers and customers
In the project core team, you will develop specifications and requirements for the delivery / scope of services to be processed in the project
You will also accompany the implementation at the customer's site

Successfully completed technical university degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
You have many years of professional experience in the design of special machines for the automotive industry or plant engineering
