The Virtual Networking Team specializes in crafting the highly adaptable Virtual Cloud Networks (VCN) and connectivity services, ensuring consistent performance, isolation, and availability.

    We are a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing the OCI Software Defined Network (SDN) framework. We are currently seeking hands-on engineers with a knack for tackling challenging issues related to high-availability, virtualized networks, and network packet handling.     Requirements

    If you're a skilled C programmer with a background in networking and embedded systems, value efficiency and scalability, excel in a cooperative, agile setup, and have an enthusiasm for continuous learning, you could be a perfect fit.

    Essential Qualifications:

    · 8+ years of systems/networking development expertise

    · 6+ years of network programming experience

    · Proficient in C++ and conversant with Python

    · Proficient in Linux

    · Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields

    Preferred Qualifications:

    · Previous work involvement in network protocol implementation or network packet operations

    · Kernel development exposure

    · Familiarity with CICD settings

    · Proficiency in Agile Development

    · Master's/PhD in Computer Science or related fields

    Responsibilities

    As a Principal Member of the Technical Staff within the Dataplane crew, you will devise and implement critical core elements of Oracle's Virtual Cloud Network. Your role will encompass crafting high-speed packet processing infrastructures and other distributed systems offering network functionalities like TCP/UDP packet handling, access management, and monitoring tools.
