    Description

    Are you an experienced Quality Engineer seeking your next exciting opportunity?

    We're seeking someone with over 5 years of experience in the Power Industry, specifically in Steam/Gas Turbines. In this position, you'll be instrumental in fostering and implementing effective Quality practices to bolster the Division's overarching business goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough Quality Audits, including in-process operations and system audits within the Division, ensuring adherence to best practices and driving continuous improvement. Facilitate customer audits as needed.
    • Spearhead Quality Improvement initiatives by managing the Quality Incident Process, employing Root Cause Analysis to identify and mitigate future occurrences. Analyze Cost of Quality and Cost of EBIT data to drive ongoing enhancements and address significant or recurring Quality issues. Issue pertinent Quality Alerts and Technical Bulletins where applicable.
    • Coordinate regular Quality/Management Reviews to assess Divisional performance vis--vis established objectives, and establish, execute, and monitor improvement strategies.
    • Develop and maintain essential documentation, including work instructions, procedures, and data sheets, to support operational processes.
    • Oversee Supplier Management activities, including monitoring supplier performance, assisting in the qualification of new suppliers, and collaborating with key suppliers to enhance Quality performance. Conduct audits of new and existing suppliers as necessary.
    • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Certification requirements through diligent adherence to applicable standards.
    • Maintain consistent tracking and calibration of IGT gauges, standards, and test equipment to uphold precision and accuracy.
    • Cultivate effective communication channels with internal stakeholders, including IGT and MD&A personnel, supervisors/managers, and customers as needed.
    • Deliver comprehensive Quality training to employees, emphasizing their roles in supporting the Quality System and Divisional objectives.
