STAFF JOB DESCRIPTION - LEAD STARBUCKS BARISTA




JOB TITLE:
Lead Starbucks Barista





REPORTS TO:
Bakery Manager/ASM-Fresh





BASIC PURPOSE:
_The primary purpose of this position is to ensure excellent customer service and that store standards are_


_met. Provide customers with prompt service, consistently serving quality beverages under the Starbucks banner and related_

_products while creating a clean, friendly, safe, and fun environment._

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

_Passion for Customer Service:

  • Welcome and connect with each and every customer_
  • Effectively recommend products and accommodating purchases to enhance the customer experience_
  • Provide product demonstrations and sampling_
  • Ensure that each customer experience results in a "WOW"._

Focus on Quality Assurance _

  • Only serve items that meet visual and product quality standards_
  • Demonstrate knowledge and practice of safe food handling_
  • Follow merchandising, stock, rotation and storage standards_
  • Present oneself in a clean professional manor during every shift_

Contribute to Store Profitability _

  • Follow proper cash handling procedures and register policies_
  • Follow inventory and stock guidelines_

Assume responsibility to learn and demonstrate knowledge as a barista _

  • Responsible for selfinitiated learning beyond the standard training program_
  • Learn and demonstrate all standards of product and conduct established by The GIANT Company and Starbucks_

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:





JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
To competently perform at a proficient level and be fully qualified, a person would be expected to have
:

1. Education (Minimum Needed): _High School or equivalent certificate_

Experience (Minimum Needed:
_Preferable supervisory and or barista experience_
