Position Overview:
As a Tax Manager at our client's family office, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing their tax operations and ensuring compliance with ever-evolving regulations.
While most tax compliance tasks are outsourced to a public accounting firm, your focus will be on strategic tax planning, optimization, and client advisory services.
This role offers a rare opportunity to step into a leadership position, with the expectation of taking over the team in the next couple of years.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead strategic tax planning initiatives for high net worth individuals and families
Collaborate closely with external tax advisors to ensure compliance and optimize tax strategies
Provide expert guidance on complex tax matters and wealth preservation strategies
Conduct comprehensive tax reviews and identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiencies
Cultivate and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and growth
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MST preferred
7+ years of experience in tax advisory for high net worth individuals and families
Previous experience in public accounting or a family office environment is highly desirable
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to mentor and develop team members
Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional client service
