    Summary/Objective:


    The Recertification Specialist to manage a portfolio of Section 8 and LIHTC properties to ensure files are in compliance with federal, state and local agency requirements.

    Reporting to the Desk Compliance Manager and Regional Compliance Director.


    Classification:
    Non-Exempt; overtime eligible

    Hybrid Schedule- 3 days in office/2 work from home


    Essential function/Responsibilities:
    duties include but are not limited to the following:

    • Reviewing and approving all recertification and movein packages prepared by site managers/Recertification Specialists;
    • Working with the site management team and staff to ensure all recertifications and movein files for Section 8, 236/Mitchell-Lama & LIHTC are completed timely and properly pursuant to agency guidelines;
    • Generating and processing HUD EIV reports for site managers
    • Assist with OCAF paperwork
    • Supports Desk Compliance Manager with preparation of all Agency and Investor reporting
    • Guides site managers on recertification corrections and questions
    • Assist with Special projects and reporting as needed

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree; required
    • Proficiency with computers including knowledge of Excel, Yardi or similar Property Management software;
    • Must be able to flourish in a fastpaced environment;
    • Must have well developed organizational, communication and writing skills;
