- Project Management Responsible for managing the full lifecycle of an implementation project throughout all phases of the TrueCommerce implementation processResponsible for planning and executing client workshops for purposes of identifying solution designMain contact for client and internal resources for project execution, direction, and leadershipResponsible for documenting the overall solution design/configuration and authoring/delivering a Detail Design Specification (DDS) for client approvalHolds weekly project status meetings for all project stakeholdersCreates Project Plans and keep project plan and all project documentation up to date and accurate for timely reporting and visibility for internal and customer stakeholdersResponsible for proactively driving the project forward including motivating client and internal teams to meet project timeline/deadlinesMake the relevant and needed decisions without affecting the scope, schedule and monitor the cost of project and suggest viable solutions when neededFollowing change management process including commitment to managing the project to the documented scope, identifying out of scope scenarios, executing against the change management process and holding the project stakeholders accountable to the change management processManages all issues throughout the project, coordinates with other teams to make sure all issues are resolved in a timely mannerCreate and present project status reports as required for TC LeadershipProvide the required information for the steering committee, create and communicate the dashboard for weekly meetings and report issues to the portfolio managerEnsure accurate project time tracking and milestones as required for project billing
- Implementation Ensure project implementation resources are executing on implementation of the solution in a timely manner, and in accordance with solution designEnsure client understands implementation roles & responsibilitiesEnsure client is trained and empowered on solutionLead and/or assist in solution configuration and quality assuranceParticipate in implementation tasks (including technical tasks) as needed to meet project timelines and deliverablesDevelop proficiency in TrueCommerce software applications in order to play role of domain expert to the clientProvide product knowledge and expertise to project staff, client, and other stakeholdersManage implementation resource on project execution, without direct managerial ownership
- Communication Maintain professional presence in all communications with clients, project staff, and any other project stakeholders (partners, etc.)Ability to manage conference calls, ad hoc meetings, generate project plans, communication plans and deliver effective recurring project updatesCommitment to keeping internal and customer stakeholders informedEffective usage of communication mediums to drive project success including knowing when to get on the phone, knowing how to escalate tactfully and knowing how to adjust communication style based on personality of customer stakeholdersAbility to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders in the spirit of achieving customer success while balancing against the triple constraintRemaining firm with customers when necessary and not being timid about delivering unfavorable news
- Administration Proactively seek project assignments to achieve or exceed targetsAssists VP, Services with resource capacity management to achieve defined team utilization goalsComplete accurate daily time entries and descriptions in time management systemAttend project planning, departmental, and company meetingsEnsure time entry and expense reports for projects are approved and processed on timeEnsures project tasks are properly documented and status are up-to-date for billing impact
- Professional Development Stays up-to-date with product training to maintain subject matter expert level knowledge of the TrueCommerce solutionsCompletes additional training as needed to maintain proficiency as listed in the above key result areasDemonstrate and expand upon project management domain expertise (PMI, etc.)Provide mentorship and training to other TrueCommerce implementation team members
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science, or related field (Required)
- PMP preferred
- years of project management experience required in a technology based service organization
- + years of experience in the tech industry and supply chain
- Experience prioritizing and multi-tasking across multiple concurrent projects
- Demonstrated ability leading resources to project success without direct management authority (matrix)
- Experience with managing resource and tracking resource utilization, allocations, and task assignments across multiple projects
- Experience in executing requirements and needs analysis workshops with cross-functional customer personnel and writing design documents based on those requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior experience with PSA tools and/or project scheduling tools
- Experience with project administration such as resource utilization, project costing, budgeting and scheduling
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision while taking initiative and setting priorities in a demanding, fast-paced environment
- Proven experience in problem solving for technical and non-technical issues
- General understanding of BB / e-commerce, electronic data interchange (EDI), and fulfillment processes preferred

The Project Manager is responsible for planning and driving the project execution of TrueCommerce implementations for EDI and BB Commerce solutions. The Project Manager will work with clients, internal global resource teams, other TrueCommerce Business Unit implementation teams, partners, and other stakeholders to lead high-profile customer implementations from sales handoff to project completion. The Project Manager will lead the implementation through the entire project lifecycle, mitigating risks, managing budget and driving for proactive results along the way.
